Larchwood Finishing is a trading name of BUILD IT DEVELOPMENT LIMITED, a building completion and finishing company registered in England & Wales since 14 March 2011 (company number 07562253). The business is run by Gary Francis McMurray from an office in Cliddesden, near Basingstoke, Hampshire.
What we actually do
Most of our work falls into four categories: snagging and completion, joinery and second-fix, wall and ceiling decoration, and handover making-good. We don't build from scratch and we don't do structural work — we take care of the finishing items that get left behind once the main contractors move to the next job, or that show up on a snag list, a move-in inspection, or a pre-sale walk-through.
Why a flat deposit instead of a quote for everything
A lot of small finishing jobs are too fiddly to price accurately without seeing them. Rather than ask you to wait for a site visit before you can book anything, we publish one flat deposit per category that covers a visit of up to 4 hours. If your job fits inside that time, you've paid the right amount already. If it doesn't, we tell you in writing before doing any extra work — you decide whether to go ahead.
Area we cover
Site visits are run from the Hampshire office at The Mount, Farleigh Road, Cliddesden, just south of Basingstoke. Send a UK postcode with your request and we will confirm whether we can attend before a date is agreed.
